Department
of Pharmacognosy Facilities :
All necessary
equipments and instruments are available for herbal drug
and pharmacobotonical research in the department. It is
well equipped with high quality scientific instruments,
Olympus microscope attached with camera php to
documentation system, cooling centrifuge, binocular
microscopes, single pan balance, electrical shaker,
rotaevaporator, well designed and fully air-conditioned
microbiology and biotechnology aseptic rooms. A
State of art herbal drug museum, an indoor medicinal
garden and separate research laboratory for post
graduate students and practical labs for UG students are
available. |

Facilities in
Pharmaceutics Dept
:
The lab has well
equipped laboratories with pilot model. Industrial set
up having individual tablets, capsules, liquid oral and
semisolid manufacturing departments and provided with
sophisticated equipments like Tap density tester,
Dissolution apparatus, Rotary Tablet punching Machine, Environmental
chamber.
The students are exposed to
manufacturing and evaluation of various dosage forms
using these equipments mimicing the pharmaceutical
industries. |

Library:
About 3000 good selected
collection of textbooks and reference books are
available. The library subscribes about 20 international
and national journals. |

|
E-Library:
The E-Library is provided
with high-speed internet facilities with about 30
terminals. The students and staff can access web
information free of cost. |
|
| Seminar hall:
A state of art, air conditioned seminar hall which can accommodate about 30 people is available, apart from an auditorium with a capacity of 250.
